NIGHT CREATURES Natural

The sky is rich with a purple glow

Skylarks and Linnets dart to and fro

Trees and bushes stand out proud

Black silhouettes 'gainst drifting cloud

Not a sound is heard, all is still

I see the moon rise from behind a hill

It cast its light upon silvered trees

'Beings' scuttle 'mongst fallen leaves

A tawny owl looks down from on high

Surveys tiny creatures with beady eye

Suddenly! It swoops, with scarcely a sound

Towards a fieldmouse, its heart apound

Mouse scampers on, no time to pause

Owl flies along, with outstretched claws

The tiny prey to a tree stump takes flight

The predator, is unlucky this night

                *****

DREAMS In My View

Dreams are made of many things

Dreams come to us in sleep

Dreams belong to lovers

Dreams are ours to keep

Dreams are for little children

Dreams are for grown ups too

Dreams are for all God's creatures

Dreams are for me and you

Dreams are made of yesterday

Dreams belong to today

Dreams are made for tomorrow

Dream them whilst you may

             *****

BLUE In My View

Blue is the dancing Bluebells

Nestling under a tree

The sky and the white edged water

Of a warm Caribbean sea

One of the colours of the spectrum

Which arches in the skies

The dark blue of the ocean

Or light blue, of someone's eyes

The delicate blue of Wedgewood

Of a vase, a cup or bowl

Blues music is a mixture

Of Rock'n Roll and Soul

If that's the extent of my 'blues'

I'll be happy, carefree and whole

                *****

I like all three of your poems. They are each a different style but they are each very good. My particular favourite is your Blue poem.
