 When did the

music leave

I was still dancing

I believe

I did not hear

the music depart

I was dancing with

What my heart

Thought was

Love's song

How was it

Wrong

How was I

Hearing

Love's music

So endearing

Was I dancing

So alone

That I did not

Hear the tone

Of the music

Subtly change

I cannot

Rearrange

The music

That I want to hear

And the melody

I fear

Is no longer mine

Good poem, it is pretty cleverly constructed!

Thanks Snowman!  I appreciate your comment.  As I wrote in " I Cannot " though; the words do just " flow as they will "
