After being in church for a couple of months, I had noticed something. The way these people lift their hands when they sing praises. The way they close their eyes and lift their voice. They yell out His name, their prayers without caring what the people around them think. They put Him above everyone else in their life. They take their time every day to talk to God and read His word every day. They go to His house and kneel before Thee.
I looked at these people and the only thought in my head was "I just want someone to love me just as much as they love their God." I'm sure I'm not the only one who has ever thought that in their life. Don't you want someone to love you unconditionally? Who will make time for you every day and put you above everything else in life? Don't you want someone who will wipe away your tears and take away the darkness and give you life?
A few months later, I went to a church camp and if there was one thing I had realized, it was that I found the person who could love me with everything in the world. You want to know who that person is? God. That's who it is. God loves me more than I could ever love him. He loves me more than I love my friends, my family, my computer, my cell phone and my music. He loves me more than anyone could ever love me and more than I could ever love someone else.
The great thing? He loves you too. Just as much.
