You build me up, then pull me down,

You don't stick to the rules

But when I turn around and start to frown

Baby, what can I do?

Your big brown eyes stare up at me

And I know I'll never be free

From your persuasion

On all our dates, you turn up late

And offer no excuse

And when I say I've had enough

Baby, I know it's no use

You make up your mind, your going to win

And I know I have to give in

To your persuasion

From day to day we carry on

It's a load I have to bear

Ther's no use me rearranging

'Cause you ain't changing

Baby, you never play fair

Persuasion, I can't turn my back

On your persuasion

It's amazing, I can't backtrack

From your persuasion

Stepen,

This feels a lot more like a song than a poem. I can feel something of the music to which you might have wrote it as I read. It's often difficult for the lyrics of a song to come across as well without the musical accompaniment but this translates very well.

Another good job.
