Mary was a shepherd who had to count her sheep.
She'd never counted all of them before she'd fall asleep.
Mary's narcoleptic, half her life has been cat-napped.
But when she takes her 40 winks her sheep do get kid-napped.
Half of her flock are now bones in that wolfs den.
Mary was determined that wolf wouldn't triumph again.
So mary she went shopping to buy an intruder alarm.
And some electrified wolf traps to do that wolf some harm.
Mary could sleep easy knowing the place would soon be alarmed.
And that wolf wouldn't stand a chance once her traps were armed.
Mary installed the traps herself and electrified the fence.
Now that wolf should stay well clear if he had any sense.
Mary had just finished when she was soaked by monsoon rains.
Which flooded half of marys field and got into the mains.
Mary tested it anyway and flicked on the main switch.
And when mary checked her treasured flock they seemed to glow and twitch.
Then they started smouldering and giving off lots of heat.
The power had shot across the field and travelled up thier feet.
Mary had then realised they were getting an electric shock.
So rushed to turn the contraption off to save her precious flock.
But mary suddenly fell asleep before she could hit the button.
And when mary next woke up her flock was roasted mutton.
