Outside in the natural darkness of the sky
You sit in the still silence
Watching, waiting-while wondering
What is out there?
You sit and wonder
Is the little star to the right lonely?
How many stars are in the sky?
Are the seven sisters having a party?
Can Draco really fly?
Is another world hiding
behind the third star to the left?
And while pondering these questions,
you look up to the sky.
You find the North Star.
Watch a comet zoom by.
You find the Little Dipper and you
see the man upon the moon.
You discover extraordinary stories
of the untold universe,
And see the bright stars shining
Like teardrops on the tulips in the spring.
Then marvel at the majestic mystery that is our universe
And you sit in the still silence of the unknown
To uncover what is the delight of a stargazer

Hello,
This is a delightful piece! Expressed well and it appears to be one that you spent alot of time on... although, in my experience it mostly just "happens" am I right?
Well done!

This is a great poem. It flows and winds up and makes me wonder if I did miss something by not stargazing!
