Thank you for joining The Writers Circle! We hope you enjoy being a member and that this site enables you to improve the standard of your writing.

PLEASE remember that almost every other member wishes to have their work appraised, so please take a look at some of the other work and take the time to comment. You do not need a degree in English Literature to give some indication of which aspects of another person's work you like or admire and which aspects you think need improvement.

SAFETY ONLINE: One final note, as with any other website, please do not include your age (particularly if you are under 16) in your personal profile. If you are a young writer it is okay to say 'young writer' rather than 12 years old etc. Also, particularly if you are a young writer, we do not advise that you correspond with any other member privately - for your own safety. Correspond only within the confines of this website (which I monitor) and this is a safe website to visit.

I really like this site - mostly because it is free to access and use.

I am involved with many young people who may like to become members and appreciate the line you have here on safety and giving out of personal info - well done for that. It may be helpful to add this to the opening page - I have been looking around the site for a few weeks now and have only just found it.

I also like the international flavour of the site. The idea that I can read something from a writer on the other side of the world is ... liberating.

Kind regards

Anne

I am really enjoying this site, thus far! I hope other writers learn about this community and come to join in on the fun. Understand that I've join several other writing sites, but this seems to be the best fit for me personally.
