The Writers' Circle

I am a retired armourer that is I constructed replicas of ancient  arms and armour which I supplied all over the world to collectors and enactment societies. Now I spend most of my time in Cyprus except for the hottest months when I move to the Dordogne where I have  been busy restoring an old mansion on the site of a medieval 'guest house' for pilgrims. I like to write short stories some of which are about ghosts, fairies and goblins whilst  others have a twist in the tail and might be termed 'humorous'. I have a wide interest in ancient buildings and ghosts ever since I bought a haunted medieval castle in Scotland years ago as a guest house (now sold) where I used to entertain guests by taking them on a nightly candle lighted ghost tour of the dungeons and other 15th century chambers.
