The Writers' Circle

Hi, my name is Jonna Williams. My first passion is actually art. In fact, I'm going to college to get a Bachelors in Fine Arts; however, I enjoy writing too. My desire to write really began about my sophmore year in highschool. Like art, writing became a way in which I could express myself. At first I started writing poetry and then short stories. After taking a few AP english classes though, I decided that I wanted to write some really good stories. I wanted to write books that were enjoyable for all people but at the same time possesed some kind of deeper, hidden meaning. I wanted there to be some kind of universal meaning in my stories that most people could identify with and learn from. However, I've already spent two years working on one story and in that time period I have learned something- I'll never finish what I've started if I don't have any source of encouragment.
