I am a seventeen year old writer and I have
been writing since I was about five really.
I love making up places like huge castles
or mangy rooms. I love the freedom that writing
gives you to imagine anything, anywhere. I
love creating characters, from people who
want to destroy the world to people who create
fantastical things. I love magic and mystery,
drama and suspense. All things that make up
a novel. What I love most is when you can
really feel the novel. When you make that
emotional connection that makes you remember
exactly why you thought the idea was good
in the first place.
I love reading and filming and most creative
things. I do a bit of drawing to help my ideas
flow. I write as often as I can, sometimes
several stories at once.
I love old places, like ruins. My favourite
place in the world is Tintagel. Rain, snow,
fog, all types of weather are beautiful and
inspiring.
I found it very difficult to express myself
especially talking to other people. Writing
gives me freedom that I don't have when speaking
spontaneously.
