I'm a baby boomer who has loved the written word all my life! Have always kept a journal of sorts. Life has surprised me with magic and tragedy all in the same year! I'm not unique. That's the game of living! The highs and lows! My family is now grown. Two marriages. Two families! Triplets will be entering my life, (via my eldest son), in November. Looking forward to the new role of grandma, although I have a difficult relationship with my children from my first marriage, (he, being the eldest.)
I have enrolled in several writing classes at my local college. I have been grateful for the honest criticism as well as well as the praise from teacher and students alike! I have a quick verbal personality. At times, I've drifted into the arena of writing from the eyes of a now senior lady describing the pittfalls of aging! Then again, I enjoyed a somewhat glamorous life as a young woman, and feel a story expressing the fun and danger of marriage, mommyhood, and modeling, could open some eyes!! Dealing with an eating disorder when this was unknown territory should be written and explored as well.
