Hello to all...

I belong to a local writers group called the "Writer's Circle" and this morning I googled "Writers Circle" and came upon this site - I love the chance meetings I seem to make in life and rarely pass up an opportunity to dig a bit deeper to see if a bit of synchronicity isn't at work...

I have a couple of books in various stages of completion but my mainstay is writing essays - personal experience essays. I have scores of essays written and hope to compile what I believe are the best, into a self-published book this coming fall.

This is where I will be looking to get some help here, to get the constructive critism needed to make my essays the best they can be. I get a lot of my inspiration from writers like Emerson and Thoreau.

I look forward to reading the works of the many members here...and making some new friends along the way.

Hi! I always do this - read the post first and then the greeting. Anyway, welcome, and I look forward to seeing your work.
