He's out of my life now Gone, now into the distant past A figure to be known only as my ex I wanted to be his wife Living out my dreams by his side Having children in our image But it wasn't to be He through it away for someone else He didn't choose me The futures mine to take The sky's the limit and I'll find my own way I'll enjoy my time and live my life And wake each morning to a brand new day
Good poem - clear message. line 8 should be threw not through.
