I can sort of picture this scene, but is there some deeper meaning to this poem? You use some politically charged language.
Happy writing! ;)

It went well for me until this point - of such calm greenery___ __ _ , I got a bit lost. Altogether, nice words put together, but I did not get the meaning. Enlighten me pls!

I like the way you have the 'ever tired god ' just hanging in there' like tinkerbell
in Peter Pan you have to believe in ,in order for it to exist. This poem has a calming empathetic effect.

Thanks all of you for commenting - its so easy to imagine our words are as plain and clear to others as we ourselves understand them to be which is why I'm so glad when someone says they dont get it and I realise I need to put in a bit more work. Basically I live along the coast and am often scared by the force of the sea on a windy winter day - not to mention when it comes right up to the cliffs and claws away at the very ground we stand on - its a powerful force beyond humans control or is it? the tides are controlled by the moon which is natures natural constraint but are we respecting nature? the moon sees the earth as an amazing green and blue planet (hence the calm greenery) colours not seen on any other planet that we know about - will this greenery stay if we continue to build houses and roads at the expense of trees, bushes, fields - not to mention the grey pollution churned out by cars, factories etc - is this not all disturbing the balance of nature? the small shred of faith is what I and hopefully many others have in humanity and its attempts to keep our planet green.
