Fergie rages at Cup 'injustice'...
Losing FA Cup semi-final manager, Sir Alex 'Fergie' Ferguson, has blasted Phil Jagielka's last gasp penalty shoot-out winner against his club by claiming that the spot-kick should never have stood...
"That was never a penalty!" spluttered the fiery, gum-chewing Scot...."In fact none of them were penalties! Don't they know the rules about letting us win and fiddling things so that the opposition never gets a free kick against us, let alone a penalty?....I despair, I really do..."
A spokeman for the FA declined to comment, but Sir Alex said he wouldn't be talking to anyone again until the FA apologised in writing and promised to make sure that referees were fully briefed on the 'understandings' and 'requirements' whenever appointed to take charge of matches involving his team.
