Then actually being sick
To experience the flutters
Then feel the first kick. 

To experience the scans
Then pictures of your baby
To experience a bad back
And indigestion maybe. 

To experience Braxton Hicks
And rushing to the hospital
Then going home again
And going back could be possible. 

To experience your waters break
Then the sound of the sirens
And you're rushed in an ambulance
As your birth canal widens. 

To experience contractions
Laying in the delivery room
Waiting for the baby
To emerge out from your womb. 

To experience the baby 
Placed straight on your tummy
And your heart skip a beat
The first time you hear mummy. 

To experience this must be
The best thing ever
But for this one thing
I was enrolled never.
