I bought this software a while back too, and i think it is absolutely fantastic.....
It has really helped me to organise my ideas and develop my characters for my first ever novel (whoo hoo!!!)...
I've been recommending to loads of my writing friends, one has downloaded the demo and she is know itching
to purchase the software at the end of the month (payday!!!).
So I have to say well done to all who developed it and THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!

You might be pleased to know that we've released a new version of MyNovel today, with built in support
for working with this site, The Writers Circle. You can submit a portion of your novel directly to the
Writers Circle without having to leave MyNovel, and you can also view your feedback within MyNovel. Hope
you like it! | Carl [292] | 05/09/2008 |
hi its ruby
carl i'd to reassure u about brazen advertising because if you are the creator of My Novel then i can
only thank u.
i did not know about the web site until i bought and downloaded the mynovel software, so your reputation
goes before u. not only have i benefited from a extremely good writers webs site, the my novel software
has given me so much inspiration. i would advise anybody who wants to write to try the free trial pack
because u will never regret it.
i went for the trial version first and within minutes i knew that it was just what i needen to organise
my characters, plots, research both on and offline, and keep a track of my ideas and so much more and
with all these to hand u just cant go wrong. i had only had the trial pack for approx half hour before
i went for the full version.
exceptional value for money
thanks carl

Hello Carl, thanks for the response. I just wanted to say that I recently downloaded a trial version
of MyNovel, and it really blew me away. I have downloaded five are six other programs, some that our
free, and none of them compare to what your program does. As I am disabled and cannot use my hands, I
rely on speech recognition and Windows Vista, and I must say that this program is just what I've been
looking for. I will be purchasing it in the next few days. Kudos to you and your program. | SouthernPoet [17] | 21/11/2008 |
I downloaded the trial version.
I was hoping I would be able to use the software on the novel I already have underway, but there seems
to be no way I can put what I have already written into the program. Is there some way? Cut and paste
perhaps?
As I don't outline because my characters seem to write themselves as I go along, I'm not sure the program
will work for me.
Any ideas or suggestions? | suzio02345 [12] | 01/12/2008 |
Yes, cut and paste is the way to do it at the moment. I have disabled cut and paste in the demo but it
is enabled in the full version. In the future I will make MyNovel import / export other file formats. | Carl [292] | 01/12/2008 |
I have MyNovel for 11 months now. I have the say, it's great in quality, and with the story templates,
diagrams, and element character, event, setting, thing prompts I used, I have been able to write a story
that's logical and well organized. Even though I write first drafts that are horrible, Mynovel helped
me all the way.
It's better than the NewNovelist software I had for two years, and I couldn't even get started to write
on that because it had no blank templates, and sometimes I would create a new story while I have my current
story on the screen and when I when I do create it, the current story disappears from my hard drive. So
I hah to start over with the current story.
Well done to those who created MyNovel. | DeUndrae [144] | 03/12/2008 |
I have tried out this software and it's amazing...really really good for writing..all thanks must go to
you..(Hopefully i'l win the software in the writing competition, fingers crossed)...brillant software
:) | Murphy [25] | 21/12/2008 |
Yep, brazen advertising alright. I did enjoy using the software though. It help me get a plan for my current
novel down and it was a lot neater than just having stacks of cribbing covered scraps.
I would recomend. | kneazle [40] | 23/12/2008 |
A couple of observations and/or requests for the next release if I may.
It would be useful if I could set globally the paragraph line spacing to 2.0, both in the word processor,
and when exporting to RTF.
Also the ability to set tabs + and minus would help with formatting issues I've noticed when pasting text.
I'd also like to be able to export title, name, and page number like I can when printing.
And finally any chance of a real time word counter that I can see in the status bar or somewhere visible?
Great uncluttered software. I've only had it a few hours but already love it. A few additional things
as above woudl make it the cream of the cream for me.
Best regards,

I too have only just purchased MyNovel, and I really enjoy using it (and the fact it runs on my little
eeePC is great!)
I too would second the comments of the previous poster, and would like some of those features implemented.
Also, I think I would like it if the program remembered all of my windows settings (fx. I run with the
side and bottom bars "auto hide", since the screen on my eeePC isn't so big.
Again - great software! I'm glad I purchased it :) | Vince Kingston [3] | 14/08/2009 |
