Hi Strawberry Jam,
Grammar is what my grandkids call my wife. Just kidding. In linguistics, grammar refers to the logical and structural rules that govern the composition of sentences, phrases, and words in any given natural language.

You probably know most of it already. I couldn't tell you what a verb or a noun is but I know what's wrong in a sentence and what doesn't work.
Don't let school teachers or parents put you off (my guess is you've been told you won't make it as a writer because your grammar is poor?), things like grammar, poor spelling will come IF you're serious about writing and IF you can learn from criticism.
For now just write.

I don't know a lot about grammar either, and I'm a lot older. So don't feel bad. :)
When you finish writing something, read it back to yourself out loud and see how it sounds. If it sounds off, change it. That's what I do. Try it and see if it works for you.
Good luck and keep writing!

Get this book: "Teach yourself english". Any good library should have one. Talk to your English teacher at school, it's their job to get your skills up.
Good luck.

I've never bothered with grammar. I think I was sick, the day it was taught at school, but I read a lot (and I mean--a lot) and I think you pick up sentence structure automatically. When you read something you wrote, you will know if it sounds right or wrong.

Grammar is the proper structure of sentences and the way words are put together.
EX. "I seen her yesterday" is bad grammar. It should be "I saw her yesterday
EX. "She come to my house" should be "She came to my house."
I hope this helps!
