I've joined from within the MyNovel software, which I'm using to make sense of the jumbled mess of ideas in my head. And reading through some of the other posts in this category, I'm not alone.
Hi, my name's Gail by the way. :-)
I've started a few novels in the past, had a bit of poetry published but don't write much of it anymore, probably because I used to work through my issues in verse, and now I just blow my top and get over it.
The novels I've worked on before have mostly been fantasy, but I've never quite got one to a publishable standard, and now I'm drawing on my own past experiences as a prison librarian and trained hostage negotiator, some twelve years ago, to write a novel based on a similar character.
I'm amazed at how much I've got down in just a couple of days since downloading the software, and at the end of my session today decided to go button browsing and see what else is in it, and found you guys.
Hey guys, what you doing hiding in my software ;-)
Glad to meet you all anyway, and I look forward to sharing an end of day natter with many of you over a cuppa.
