Contest Confusion

hi everyone
i've just recently joined writers circle like about a month ago and i'm totally enjoying it. its great. i'm in a bit of confusion over well two things. i was hoping that you guys could help me. first confusion is that there's a contest (not on this site) but on a different site. its a monthly contest and its for best short story. do you think i could enter and win or should i wait for a bit until my writing has improved. its free and all and you get a great prize. its only for teenagers so i guess all of the entries may be at the quality as mine but i still want to have some other people's options cause well if i don't win i get all upset and everything. the second confusion is that how do i input some of my details to go with my picture for my account. i've been trying for ages and i couldn't figure it out. i would like to post some details about myself soon so can someone help me. thank you.

Hi Iram,
I'd say, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Don't expect to win. It's not normal. Only egotists always expected to win. You'd lose some and win some . . . that's normal. So go ahead and submit your articles and when you do, you've already won because you have beaten your fear to submit.

As for your 'profile'. Just login and edit.

Just go for it Iram. You may win and you may not. However, what you will have gained is "growth" as a writer and that's far better than a material prize.
