Let My Heart Be Open to You by unbridledspirit

With faith there is healing,
All we need is to believe.
I call on You to guide me,
My God to You I forever cleave.

I find comfort in Your presence,
It's much more than I deserve.
I humble myself before Thee.
You are my strength and my reserve.

I desire a closeness with You,
Like none mankind has known.
I want to be Your disciple,
The seed in my heart is sown.

Let my heart be open to You,
Let me feel the warmth on my face.
Let my heart be open to You,
May I always know Your grace.

I'm not a religious person, but I'm deeply spiritual (is that possible?  ha!)  and I can feel the spirit that's being conveyed in this poem.  Good work!

Bobchoi...thanks for your feedback.  To answer your question, the way I look at it is this...if a strong belief in God makes me a religious person then call me religious.  If a strong belief in God makes me spiritual then call me spiritual.
