Finished my book! by AVFreaky22

Yeah so I finished my book and it's 302 pages long 1 prologue and 40 chapters over 50 000 words. I'm supposed to feel a sense of accomplishment ... which i don't. LOL. 
Guess it has not hit me yet or something. Still scared of the publishing thing. But I think I'll do it eventually.
 I'll start on the second book soon. In the mean while I think I'll just enter some contests or publish some stuff online and try to create a writing portfolio, things that I can list in my query letter.
Does anybody know contests or sites that I can publish my stuff? :)

Congrats! That's such an amazing feeling (when it finally hits you)! The site where I learned all my stuff is the querytracker forums- you can get an answer to anything within a day. Oh, and the best place to set up a website for free is Blogger. Truly. ;) Good luck and keep writing!
