I wish I could tell you how I felt
how only you can make this heart melt.
With every smile, laugh and song
I now am weak where I once was strong.
Only you can thaw this soul,
make trumpet sound and bell toll.
Every sighting is a joy,
for this disheartened, lonely boy.
Surrounded by people, far from friends
only your love can make amends.
In this will of ice and heart of stone
love is there for you to own.
Each night I lament and voice my prayer
for you to end this bleak despair.
Only you can end the gloom,
make bluebirds sing and roses bloom.
Give me your heart and I smile again
turn away and my heart is slain.

All the victims of love unrequited
await me in the flames.
Because of you I'll be united 
with those who've lost their names.
Torment is when I look above
and see those clear blue skies.
Down to this pit I received a shove
from the witchcraft in your eyes.
And in your smile the demon's play
the wicked skip and run.
There's really nothing left to say
except that it's no fun.
This noose is here for you to sever
And release me from this Hell.
Loving you shall be my sole endeavour
your eyes have cast their spell.

Could you deny your love for me?
Could you cure my jealousy?
Envious green washes over me
when another man with you I see.
I don't even have to look at you
to feel this feeling that I do.
But I know this feeling's true
I know you feel this feeling too.
So do not deny your love for me
hearts of the world have sympathy.
Join together and give empathy
we were always meant to be.
Sometimes I feel I need a release
something to give my beating heart peace.
Then I'm confronted by my greed
it is you, your love I need.
So give me the word, give me a sign
give me some indication you're mine.
Kiss me, embrace me, tell me you need me
you told me "One day" when will that be?

I used to think of you and smile
I was in love, there was no denial.
Now it's all turned to bile
this after taste has been most vile.
Love used to burn like a fire
of seeing you I could never tire.
Now I see you were a liar!
My heart lies upon the pyre.
Do you enjoy causing pain?
Making all my happiness drain?
Causing my heart to ache and strain?
I walked with you in the pouring rain.
I gave my coat to keep you warm
I would always protect you from the storm.
And love you just for being there
This was meant, this isn't fair.

It isn't fair we cheat ourselves
into my soul your eye delves.
You see I care, love and cherish
At times I pray this love to perish.
So this pain I feel will disappear
and I won't care that you're not here.
I know this dream can never be

I knew it when I looked at you
into your eyes, I then saw through.
Into your heart I was able to see
there is room for someone like me.
I decree that this pledge be made
my love for you shall never fade.

Light comes and I see clearly

Of those cruel people saying "You'll never win"
