I draw my tongue across my palm
and watch as velvet drips appear
then look back up to the gallery
and see the backs of empty chairs.
I probe and slash in total random
then curl into the velvet sheet
and wash my mouth with caustic soda
then pop my tongue back in my cheek.

I am not sure what point you are trying to reach...
And what you are talking about...
This is a bit odd.

Taylor is an sarcastic anti emo cutter poem - young people right meanless drivel about the glory and pain
of cutting themselves. This poem is basically saying who care nobodies watching | mlambere [38] | 09/01/2010 |
Hi,
This is the first thing I have read by you but am intrigued to read more! The "I" in the poem
is a convincing voice, mainly I think, in how they describe each new masochistic act in almost ritualistic
terms - the importance of what they do comes through in their not wishing to leave any one thing out.
Some nice imagery too, a sense this person relishes what they are doing. Dark and unnerving. | Keiron [79] | 12/01/2010 |
Not quite sure about this one.
