Too right. Sometimes it's hard to bear these things in mind when you are writing, especially that no-one's perfect, though I would take that beyond the book and apply it to yourself (not specifically you, but all of us.)
I think too many of us get wrapped up in making things perfect but it can't be done. If we read anything we have written then there will be things that we would do different even after the 1,000th edit. Getting work to a stage that you are happy with and leaving it there is one of the hardest things that I find with writing.

At first I wasn't really sure if this belonged here, but I posted it anyway. I'm really happy everyone has like it, and thanks for your post =). I lost a lot of friendships this past year, but I felt like it strengtened the ones that I kept, and that gave me the courage to let go of those who weren't good for me. That's kind of what brought this on. I'm glad you guys liked it.

Advice is always welcome. I, for one, love to know how other writers feel about writing; how they manage it into their lives etc. It is hard, and I don't know about anyone else but for me it's doubly hard because my family and friends don't realise how dedicated I am about it.
