It's life, not a fairytale.

Have you ever wanted to write a story, and just disappear into it and become the princess with the perfect life? I sure have. You get your prince charming, expensive clothes, you'd be living in a castle with your own servants...I don't see why it's a bad idea.

But wait a second and think about it...
How many adventures would you get to go on?
What would you learn with everyone doing things for you?
How would you get to be just insane and wild if everyone is watching you, expecting you to be perfect?

My whole point is, life being un-perfect is alot easier than being a princess would be. It feels good to accomplish things for yourself, rather than sitting in a throne all day and speaking with fancy words.

No, I don't own a single dress or skirt. I don't know how to curtsey (or even spell it to be honest.).

I am the kind of person who just blurts out whatever I have to say. I'm the person that occasionally dances around in my room and sings into a hairbrush. Falling up the stairs is part of my daily routine. I complain about having to make my bed, and sit on my lazy butt as long as I can. The only shoes I have are sneakers. But doesn't my life seem easier than a princess that sits up straight and wears big fancy gowns and is expected to be perfect?
That is a fairytale.
Reality is, no matter how much you hate it, we aren't perfect, like royalty
Everyone should know this, and then can just be happily living "wierdos"
If life could be this way, I'm sure you would all pick being an average person on the street over royalty anyday.

I quite like the way you write exactly what you are thinking and how you feel about the things you think...thanks for sharing this...

I like it! It is an interesting view- though personally I always wanted to be the old witch lady who burns all the food! Yeah, my strange world... and I'm curious as to exactly how you can fall UP the stairs. You must be a very talented girl. ;)

I don't know I won't want to be born into royalty but have you see some of the British Princes?
I won't mind one bit if I got married into royalty. I agree it would be hard to be perfect all the time but you do get some days where everything s normal and everything is common.
For example, the time when Queen Elizabeth travelled on the PUBLIC train. Everyone was shocked to see a queen walk into a train.

Cool. Totally agree, we all need to be ourselves and not the way people expect us to be! Well done for your point of view.
