I f   I   h a d   a   w i s h  ......

Bubbles in my bubble bath
  --bubbles escaping--
      I'd jump quickly into one
             The wall of film behind me closing
                          in a twinkling -
               Ride it, float with it, maneuver it
                  roll it from the inside
                          navigate to the outside
                                  sail across the air
                                         in this transparent sphere
                                                        fly
                                                 climb
                                        up up and away
      See the world differently
                            Unlike that most people see
                                    Like the eagle views a wrinkled sea
             Catch the rainbow who's actually
                           more than willing
                                  to hitch a ride with me
                                        in my journey
  Pull away from the Earth
         The horizon encircling
                 moving up with me
                        dissolving  seemingly
                                My skin feeling
                                        The sun closer
                                       The air cooler
                           The cotton carpet floor floating
                    The cobalt canopy of skylight surrounding
Invite a bird to join in for an orbit
      To the dark side
            Stars signaling above
                                 Blinking below
                  The full moon that before looked
                          Like the perfect Host to swallow
                                 Craters appear and seem to grow
                                         Weren't they Neil Armstrong's footmarks
                                                 Some time ago?
                    . . . Dark to light . . .
                                                                           . . . Light to dark . . .
                             Is the Earth above or below? i !
                                     Maybe northeast maybe southwest ... ! ? i
                                            Never mind
                    Sit back
             Savor the sensuous scenery
                                         with my friendly company
     Wonder why not
                   share this marvel
                          this first hand beauty
                                  not readily available to many
  Maybe make fools like me
           way way wiser
                          Open minds
                                  Understand better
                                          Our threatened
                                                Bubble
                                                       inside the big bubble inside
                                                                               the big bubble ......
 As many as there are bubbles
                     There are Many who can
                            Jump in
                                   To Learn
                                           To appreciate
                                                  To save
                                                           To preserve
              This Beauty
                      That I'd come to comprehend
                                                           In my journey ...
