A little announcement

Hi all,

My first novel Slaves, Spooks & The Praying Mantis - Operation Red Folder is now sold in Canada by Chapters - Indigo bookstores (finally after 4 months :-) and their online store as well. At 34% off, (last I checked) they sell it lower than Amazon.ca.

In the US, Borders bookstores & their online joins in with Barnes & Noble (bookstores & online) but B&N sells it at a discount while Borders offer none (this could change). Amazon.com offers discounts as well.

In the UK, Eden.co.uk (online) offers free delivery. Retail bookstores (& online) of WHSmith & Waterstone's carry it as well but not sure if it was discounted. Numerous other onlines like Amazon.uk sell it in the UK as well.

Along with Canada, US & the UK, the book is also available in other countries like Africa, Australia, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Norway, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, & for the rest of the world, the juggernaut Amazon.com is your option.

For a complete list of retail bookstores and online links, please visit www.abrill.com and cursor down near the bottom.

Thanks,
Grampa Pogi

Well done Grampa Pogi on the publication of your book, I hope that it is a sucess for you.
Also thank you for your comments on Internet Shed. It always helps when others see the mistakes and point them out. Much more useful than just saying that they liked/hated it. Just to contradict what I have just said, I liked your space article very much, and would liked to have commented on it but cannot find anything to critisize.
Well done again.

Grampa, even though I have already got 2 copies of your book, I'm looking forward to seeing it at the bookstores in Hong Kong... preferrably in the best-sellers section where it belongs. Congrats!

Thanks churchmouse, your 'internet shed' is very imaginative . . . and who knows if that was the 'real' story ;-) . . . who could tell. Write more of the stuff . . . very enjoyable.

And all the best to you too BobChoi, your 'push' and your'encouragements' are very heart warming for a new writer and most especially to all the other young writers here. You've been very encouraging to everyone.

You're right, I really wish I could tap into HK's market because there are at least 200,000 Filipino ex-pats there (and growing) that could potentially be "readers" and that same number plus many Chinese thriller fans could spell box-office success. (Wouldn't it be nice?")
If only I could find a publisher in HK (I still hold the copyright) . . . hmmmm :-)

And don't forget the two other books (4 in total) you'd purchased for your daughters :-) Thanks for your support; very much appreciated . . . I can't thank you enough.

Cheers,
Grampa

BoB Choi,

Looking at the posted replies, I thought you might miss my comment so I posted the one for you separately . . .

Hi Debbie Reynolds,

Yes, my book is available in the UK. Just link to www.abrill.com and cursor down near the end past the rave reviews. The first group of stores are the retail stores and the UK onlines are nearer the bottom of the listings (the countries are listed in alphabetical order). There's at least nineteen dealers that sell my book in the UK alone. Just click on a particular link and it will take you to their site and you can order directly. The prices vary and some offer free shipping.
Thanks for your support.
