AKA the reason I don't normally do poems. Also in honor of Chinese New Year.
Cometh, Oh Weary Tiger Moon
Cometh, oh weary tiger moon,
For your warmth, I surely miss,
Your strength, your wit, your wisdom,
When do you arrive, oh tiger moon?
Cometh, oh beautiful tiger moon,
Escapeth from sleep's sweet kiss,
Returneth to your jungle, your rich kingdom,
Be you near, oh tiger moon?
Cometh, oh furious tiger moon,
Chase the Ox through the mist,
Embrace your new found freedom,
Do you come, oh tiger moon?
Cometh, oh timely tiger moon,
The old year, dismiss,
The Ox is beaten, is gone, is done,
Where are you, oh tiger moon?
Good night, oh sweet tiger moon,
The end, this night insists,
Though I wait for you to come,
Are you here, oh tiger moon?
