Getting Ideas

Need help getting ideas? Is your mind blank when you sit down to write?
Here are some tips to find those great ideas!
-question everything about this world
-think of lots of questions
-wonder
-make a new word
-use a random sentence from a book or newspaper and use
it as the beginning or the end of your story
-start an idea file in your journal... paste in interesting newspaper articles or ads
-write down dreams
-just write! Write about what's bothering you, what you love, what you wish would happen tomorrow

Hope this helps!
Audrey

Why would anyone take a course in Creative Writing if a 12-year old can give us such wonderful, practical ideas to get ideas? Thank you, Audrey!
