Humanity and Humane Things

By laughingkat27 | Posted: 30 January 2010

Since when did humanity care to think
About those left bereft
In its progression?

Now we sprawl across the world
As lazy as an old cat
And half as lifeless

If just once we worked as hard
Saving the world
As we do harming it

Would we save
This beautiful place
Before it goes to waste?

I am sorry but I have to say that I sensed ANGER in this poem, although it did get your message across.

Why are you sorry to say that? I don't understand.
