Hi there, I am extremely pleased when I receive a comment on my work. However, one can see that many people read the posted work but few enter a comment. How about taking a few extra moments to tell the writer of your thoughts. Every comment helps - if you enjoy the piece or if you dont. Making comments on other people's work will help you think about your own.
So - I would encourage everyone to comment after they have finished the reading.

thanks again to those who do

I agree as this not only as you say helps you think about your own work but it encourages correspondence, as we writers need inspiration.

Hi bay gurney!
I agree that leaving comments is helpful to others and yourself, and it doesn't take much extra time.
By the way...why haven't you taken some time to leave some??? As you say, many people read but don't comment, and there should be more comments on others work. And after all, it is very helpful and takes very little extra time.
Just curious...
Audrey
