I am flying, soaring.
Suddenly everything goes black.

I cannot see, hear.
Why me?

I didn't do anything wrong.
I might never see my friends again.

Life was perfect.
Then this happened.

I might not live another day.

I might not live anot...

I wrote this about the crash at Calabogie Peaks. So sad... =,(
For those of you who have not heard about the accident, an 11-year-old girl was killed in a ski crash
at Calabogie Peaks on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010. She crashed into a tree, and died in the hospital. I heard
from a friend that the 6th of February was going to be her twelfth birthday. She was wearing a helmet,
it was not her fault. SHE DIDN'T DESERVE TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fr more details about the article, check out these pages. There are comments on them from people who knew
her too...

A poem full of truth...

This is such a tragic event. You did a great job at expressing your feelings about this accident.

I never knew you, but I can tell that you were a great person, reading peoples comments about what happened
to you.

I feel so sorry for this girl's family and friends! They are going through so much, but one day, they
will meet her in heaven.

Just think...it could have been any one of us. Anyone.

This is a cute poem although a person near death bed would not reminisce the past nor worry about the
past, rather, she/he will be more busy thinking how she/he can save her/his life.

You think it is CUTE????????????????????????????
Anonymous [95]07/02/2010
Yes, why not? By the way, why is your call sign Anonymous?
Evita Sagalongos [206]07/02/2010
Oh...must have checked the anonymous box by accident.

You think it's cute?? The poem is about someone dying!! You must not have read the comments! She really
did die, she hit a tree while she was skiing! I don't think that is very cute!!

You are so emotional, I said cute because you were able to come up with something even though the one
who died didn't really say it. Many die in an accident and we have to accept it. I think commenting
is for the articles/works not about the basis of your works. You understand this, right?
Evita Sagalongos [206]07/02/2010
Sorry...I overreacted. I understand now... you liked how I wrote the poem in a creative way...

Sorry Evita!

poignant stuff one can not imagine the feeling that little girl went through in seconds at her ill fated
crash trying to find those words to fill those seconds

Anonymous [95]08/03/2010
This is not cute at all. Do you think dying is cute?
