Kissed by a breath of wind
The tranquil forest lifts its sleepy head
Turning towards the glowing sun
Snatches of light beam between jade green leaves
Morning dew drips from waving bracken fronds
Bluebells chime a melody of spring
Blades of grass grow and grasp at the sea blue sky
Sunlight streams across the canopy of trees
Jewelled rocks sparkle beneath mossy coats
Leaves pulse with life giving energy
As the light fades and twilight approaches
Flowers curl up like hedgehogs ready for sleep
Silence echoes in the trees
The softness of quiet strokes the air
A gentle moment of peace
Above, fairy lights twinkle in the night sky
Far beneath the forest sleeps
