Things close shall be distanced,
Some distances hurt.
A boy to be distanced,
now lying in dirt.
A life lost so soon,
The life was so dear,
But for that life we stay strong,
And shed so silent a tear.
Mourn for his life,
Grieve for his soul,
But stay forever silent,
For his voice shall uphold.
Words spoken are quiet,
Some actions unseen,
But the voice of a boy with the angels will sing.
Louder than all,
His voice will prevail.
Raining down atop many,
His voice falls like hail.
He speaks to the world,
With his lesson to learn.
If we do not treat all well,
We all shall be burned.
Like smoke caught in my hand,
The boy disappears,
Leaving behind memories,
And answering fears.
Life comes and it goes,
Like lightning it flashes,
And when it is lost,
The black thunder crashes.
Raining are roses,
Pouring are tears,
Voices are whispers,
Still fading through years.
He is not gone,
He is only away,
And before mourn continues,
Hear his voice say,

He died on Sunday, February 21st, 2010.
We weren't close, but we shared classes.
I will miss you, and I know you're in a better place.
I'd also like to say I'm sorry. This has been knawing at my insides for as long as I can remember you. I'm sorry for me, I'm sorry for the kids at school that picked on you, I'm sorry for the things they must have put you though. I'm sorry they haven't said sorry, I'm sorry they might not have a chance. I'm sorry you had to leave us.
