Phoenix by Eilidh333

New dreams are built up from the dust,
Strong hearts created from the rust,
A phoenix in the midst of flame,
Reborn to beauty, reformed from pain.

He stands so strong, handsome and tall,
Capturing hope with his long soulful call,
He resembles the rainbow, a light in the dark,
Every ghost from his past does not leave a mark.

The tender heat within his eyes, echoes in his aching wail,
His crimson body matches with gold plumage of his tail,
The love for all humanity is clear within his tears,
They heal all wounds from lovers past, release all hidden fears.

Nicely rhythmic with some striking imagery. I have always liked the idea of renewal and rebirth that this poem seems to capture so well. Reading it leaves me feeling uplifted. 
Though not a criticism - I did wonder, why such a noticeable rhythm change - each line much longer in the last verse then in the previous two? 
Dosent detract though from the intensity overall.
I really look forward to reading more of your writing!
