This poem is so truthful and wise, although I myself am not religous, I think that it is a message that everyone should know, that however important it is to love other people, everyone on earth no matter who they are, religion, race etc set aside, everyone should be loved equally, it is also important to love yourself if you are to be trully happy in this life, you must respect yourself or else you can never really be respected.  Thanks for sharing!

Love and Joy go hand in hand.  For Love to occur, there has to be Joy and to have Joy, there has to be Love. But in order to have pure Joy, we have to follow the three steps for JOY, which is our faith . . . to love our Saviour, Jesus, who gave us the ultimate love of redeeming our sins, . . . next step is to be charitable, to love Others . . . and the last is the hope that we could be joyful to love Yourself. J-O-Y. Jesus-Others-Yourself (in that order). JOY.
