Setting my Baby Free!

Hi all! I'm thrilled to be sending my baby out into the big world on its own.....my novel, I mean! I just sent it out to apply for the SCBWI work in progress grant. The editing was very difficult and writing a 500 word synopsis for a 85,000 word book was a very good excercise...I feel that I'm on my way to being able to submit to publishers. (By the way, during editing, I found that the first chapter of my novel really began at chapter 3!! Funny how these things work.)

Wish me luck!
