It all started when I wrote this sentence. Another chapter of my life about to be told. The beginning doesn't matter is, it's in the past, gone. I made mistakes that can never be forgotten terrible mistakes. I got rid of my moral justice for money and the will to be alive. I gave up my family for myself, I could of saved us all but I saved myself, all that matters now is that I move on and try and save myself and everyone around me from myself.
My Family are in Prison for no reason. I have to help them. I have to think of a way my Father told me when I was young that if I was ever alone and lost in the world, my godparents have all the answers is life this always seemed somewhat strange and now appropriate. So why did he never tell me who they were. Who and Where I need to know that is my first lead. My second is my brother who escaped my clutches when I was killing my family's joys. He has moved on so a dead end once again but I am determined. Before I get into too much detail I'll introduce myself I am Elizabeth Clare Verton, I am 26 years old but with no grasp on the world. I don't know my friends from my enemies; I'm alone in a dangerous game. I only have 3,500 pounds and money is running out fast, I need money to visit my brother but will I need it later the questions run on.
Two days later Elizabeth set of to Denmark in search of her brother, she had been to the local council to see if they had any information on where he may be they said the town of lantana wondering why she wanted to see her brother. Trailing into the past is never good they thought, but what did they know, they didn't know the circumstances. Elizabeth carried on oblivious of their thoughts but she was nervous anyway. She shook this thought out of her mind because she knew being cowardly would get her no where. Later tired and cold she arrived on the doorstep of 10 Rosebud Avenue ,she knocked cowardly she hadn't seen her brother, Paul for 10 years when both of them pulled away from the family he had been 24 years old and his life may of changed dramatically from that point onwards.
She first heard a small child of about four, screaming to her parents, the phone was ringing, the television blaring; a chaotic house. Elizabeth felt somewhat surprised, her brother had always been locked up in his room, a very secretive person, here he had a family and more to the point a well built life.
The Door opened and a beautiful young woman of about 30 stood their carrying a 1 year old and 2 small children of about 4 and 6 were playing in the hall. Her Brother wasn't in that room but she heard some humming from the Elizabeth gathered to be the Kitchen a lovely smell was wafting out and Elizabeth so wanted to follow. The Hall was quite large full of Toys and obviously family fun. The lady asked her if she could help her.
"I, um I'm Elizabeth I was wondering if this is the house of my Brother um.. He's called Paul" Elizabeth stuttered.
"Oh yes come in Elizabeth please I've heard so much about you I'm so glad to meet you I'm Karen, Paul's wife. You did get the wedding invitations didn't you because well you obviously weren't there? "
"Oh I never heard about it well anyway congratulations."
Elizabeth stared in awe at the life Paul had created while Karen went to fetch Paul. Elizabeth's stare brushed past Paul and then she realized that was her brother, that quiet geeky kid now a grown man with a beautiful wife and 3 children, that tall handsome man she greeted him like a stranger as she felt he was. Paul introduced his three children the oldest 6 was called Isabelle, the 2nd oldest 4 was called Peter and the youngest 1 Emma. Elizabeth smiled inside she was an auntie but she had to tell Paul her wrongdoings and ask for his help so she politely asked if she called to talk to Paul because of family problems Karen was very concerned but took over the dinner and asked Elizabeth to tea. So Elizabeth accepted not sure whether Paul would be to cross for her to eat with his innocent children but she accepted gratefully anyway and the children went of to paint.
Elizabeth explained about how she had been threatened but had been to cowardly to even run she had sentenced her own family her 2 brothers and 1 sister and her mother and father were in prison near to torture. Her mind was confused about what had actually happened her father she thought had got in to some dodgy deal but no where as bad as they were facing.
Paul was tightly hiding something but he said that Father had often got into dodgy deals just because he was careless he also said that it was no fault of her own and they probably wouldn't be facing jail more like a camp for the wicked these were prisons but also crossing the boundary into Human Rights it was not fair and this was only tolerated by the government because of the threats which she had encountered herself.
But Paul wad hiding a massive a secret which could endanger Elizabeth's life dramatically John, Paul and Elizabeth's Father was in connection with companies like MI9 and his life and well being had always been an issue, The enemies wanted to get rid of him no better way than treachery so later they could catch Elizabeth when she finally tried to get him out of this mess but Paul thought this secret he was keeping would save her but instead it was making her fall closer to danger she was unaware. That one point would change her life forever.
Elizabeth took his information in eagerly even though it was very poor compared to what he actually knew, but she didn't know this so she was happy for some clues .Although what she now knew didn't bring up many leads.
Elizabeth soon found her Nephew and Nieces were Charming young souls, with no cares in the world. Her sister in law was thoughtful and intelligent and her brother was still geeky but in an intellectual, kind + well being sort of way.
When it was time for the Children to go to sleep Elizabeth was sad because she realised she would have to leave and be a lonely young girl who no one cares about, but she set of into the cold night waving goodbye cheerfully but not feeling so cheerful inside. When she got home to her humble house which she didn't really think of as a home more of a house, a strange house which had nothing to do with her. She thought of her family tears streamed down her face why'd she let it fall apart? How can she save them, when the damage is down and long over? She had to stay strong, not for herself, but for her family and her human decency. She pieced together her clues, camp, dodgy deals that was about all she had. Every night Elizabeth thought in wonder why had it gone so wrong, every night she'd sleep on questions and her family's lives but the answers stayed hidden , it was like they were hiding from her this was all a game of hide and seek.
1 month after Elizabeth had visited her brother, hope came into her life but hope isn't always good for the person holding it. Elizabeth received a letter, it said,
It's all your fault, those tears, those screams that drown into the night not one soul cares about those tears apart from me and you.
It ended with a chilling message: I know, we know your family live but you will not, we're watching you. This sent chills down Elizabeth's spine, but hope as well. Her family were alive, maybe she'd have to give herself, for her family but she missed them so much she'd do anything.
The next day she awoke to a sound of crying, but who could it be, she thumped down the stairs and into the dining room where she slipped on a deep red pool of blood and banged her head straight onto the table. It all went black; voices were screaming people crying memories, dreams, the past or the future?
Elizabeth for the second time that day awoke confused and dazed. She heard murmurs from her sister's bedroom and tried to get up but her leg was too heavy to lift. She tried to look but for all she could see she wasn't tied up which was what she was dreading. She sat up and saw a deep gnash on her leg, her bone seemed slightly distorted but she heaved herself up hobbling with a large sense of pain she walked on hobbled to the door and peered round two men were there, Elizabeth was shaking she ducked were they couldn't see her, her mind was shattered all she could see was her life flashing before her eyes. Her life, her family loving her, happy childhood, she falls, she hates, she pulls away they go they slip her life. A police car speed through her street sirens blaring, the two men stopped whatever it was they were doing, looked around and ran.
Elizabeth crept forward her brain was scared of nothing her heart everything if she let this go she let her family go. She looked around and found one thing a book an I.D card, it said officer 10689 ,patrol 456 of Camp for Police, this sounded very important, Elizabeth got ready left. She went to her brothers, this time she did not see her brother's children or his wife. She went in to the quiet peaceful room, the only one in his house and talked, more and more it unravelled, Elizabeth set of at 5.00pm her mind blaring she had a plan her brother couldn't come, he had a family , she had one but it was missing she was going alone. On the 21st of March the bad weather had gone, Elizabeth knew this was her chance, her only chance. She found the remote village she was looking for at 10 am, her mind was buzzing, her heart thudding. She turned the corner on her map and in real life, she wished life was the map. She stared and saw a tall black building, it reeked of a smell she had never witnessed before smoke was drifting at of the grim place she went to the tight security and held up the pass, her fingers lay over the picture, inside the small security cabin sat a fat, old grumpy man who just scratched his nose and let her through, part one was over. She made her way inside and and flet tears building up but she brushed them away and this was were her plan ended what did she do now. She felt a tap lightly on her shoulder she turned round and ducked, ducked and ran a man was there a man with a pistol. "You don't think we were born yesterday do you" exclaimed the bald man. "Your dads MI9 we don't want you taking over him, so we'll get rid the easy way. Elizabeth was shocked this was a big thing for her but she forgot about her heart, all those lies she'd heard, she ran forward ducking behind tables and chairs all the time she grabbed the gun she was in a rage. The bald was now on the floor the back up ran away cowards without there leader but a few strong ones stayed up front still scared her gun was top of the range. Elizabeth didn't know this though so she ran saw her sister and burst into tears tears of joy. She heard a shot and it went black. Next thing she knew she didn't know anything she had been in a coma for 3 weeks they had escaped but now she had brain loss, but her family was there too support her, brighter days were ahead well until next time the time it was her sisters fault but that's another story all I'll tell you is that it included grief the same as this time.
