A very endearing poem dedicated to your Mum. The unconditional love of a mother is something that all of us can relate to. Kudos, libran88!

Possum, thank you for taking the time to read my poem. I wanted to honour my Mother for her unconditional love, not only for "Mother's Day" but for always.

Libran I really enjoyed this piece, like possum said before me we all love our mothers and I think everyone can relate to this piece. I love poetry when it's GOOD otherwise I can get bored, (I know it isn't your style but I really like ted hughs). On the other hand two lines to me, in my own personal opinion didn't sit just right, maybe a little to long. But again that's just me. Otherwise I thought it was brilliant and very touching.
Who was there when I burst out my first cry, my Mother
Who was there when I had my first fall and helped me up, my Mother
They just didn't sit quite right with me. Loved the rest and voted ;)

Thank you tlparsons for your comment. If I could remind you, this poem is about my own life so the sequence of the story happened in that order. I wrote this poem to honour my Dear Mother for her unconditional love for me. Also, I like writing in this style because I do not want the readers to check their Dictionary everytime they read an article. Remember, K.I.S.S.
