Red sky hints on the horizon The arc of the burning sun draws to a close Embers of fire twinkle as the sky evolves The sea of tranquillity appears gentle and calm Twilight haze becomes a duvet of midnight blue Be speckled with jewelled dots from galaxies beyond our reach Glimpsing our world for a brief distant each night Moonlight beams down like a beacon from above Roving the earth, watching over us The darkness deepens, enveloping us in it For a few hours darkness is king
I like your descriptions, elaineh and I like this poem The only thing is that I see a starry, moonlit night I see the Night is King
