This is a very sad poem. I could feel your pain and sorrow. May you find comfort in knowing that she is now in a more beautiful place where there is no pain, no tears, no suffering, no sorrow but only peace, happiness and eternal life with our Lord.

My condolences, possum
I remember when the poem was about her seemingly endless suffering
It seems like it was just yesterday
May you find comfort in your poetry . . .

Possum,
Words seem insufficient to express the sadness you feel about your sister's death. Hold tight and have peace in the comfort of the memories you shared. Though no words could help to appease the loss you bear, just remember you are very close to your family in this writers circle forum and I, speaking for many, am here to pray and support you in your grieving process. With sincere sympathy, Grampa.

Thank you, libran88. It really hurts to see her go and I can only find comfort in knowing that she's now with the Lord, past the pain and suffering.

Thank you, mnmnI. Yes, this poem relates to the piece I wrote in March.
When Will The Suffering Ever End?
I SEE HER fragile body lying still
sleeping yet not sleeping
moaning and moaning and moaning in pain
morphine more morphine more morphine
moaning more moaning more moaning in pain
i look up to heaven and wonder
when will the suffering ever end . . .

Thank you, Grampa. I find comfort in knowing she's not suffering anymore but couldn't help feeling so sad that she's no longer here with us.
