The Writers' Circle

We are lost sheep following the powers that be,
they say it's the best for us.
They sit on their pedestals dictating their laws,
they say it's the best for us.
We are pushed and pulled to uphold their laws,
they say it's the best for us.

If only we would see,we have but one power 
who leads us good and true?
It is our lord who watches over us,
Believe in him, surely this is the best for us
