Mixed emotions,
Fogged up mind,
Broken hearts,
No love to bind.
A sorrow filled smile,
A tear in the eye,
You want to let go,
But don't want to cry.
The choice is impossible;
Either way will bring pain,
But which pain is worse?
This drives me insane.
On one side I lose you,
On the other, myself.
It's hard to let go,
But it's costing my health.
What do I do?
Is the answer inside?
I'm afraid of my feelings,
I know how they lie.
Do I listen to you,
Or the voice in my head?
There is no real answer,
Only tears left to shed.
