Dragons in the Mists (excerpt)

As the sun warmed my face I listen to the bustle of the people on the street.
"Will you look at that man", Jo screeched with laughter "He's running as if his bum is on fire."
Well what would you be doing if you had a young dragon flying after you? AND that dragon had the hick ups and kept sending out streams of fire and smoke.
"Laura, are you all right?" Jen asked, concern clouding her voice.
I look back at the girls around the table, we had met up during lunch to enjoy the sun away from the desks at work, they were all looking at me most had that registered look as if I was losing it again.
"Of course I'm fine"
Sometimes I hate my ability to see through the mists that distort the creatures of old that modern people believe are myths. But then again, smiling to myself, as I look at my friends, they will never see the weird, wonderful and funny things that populate our world and are concealed by the mists.

Another MOST enjoyable snippet, penned with humour. When I came to the final line, I was left wanting more, it was too short for me! Very nicely inked and narrated, filled with mystery and intrigue, great imagery. Your creative pen is on fire when it comes to Dragons! I soooooooooo look forward to many more stories about them from your talented pen. Thank you for sharing. Blessings always..........

Love to write about dragons. They seem to turn up in every thing I write about even when the story is suppose to have nothing to do with them.
