I'm trying to think
but
my thoughts are 
                                flying off
to your 
monotonous 
dulcet tones
of drivel.

I want to read 
my romance book
but
the main character
is dancing
          fancy pants
               to your twinkle toes
                                  repertoire.

Turn it down!
I'm trying to watch 
a documentary 
that highlights the wonders 
of the ocean deep
but 
your constant bass beat
is disturbing the 
            flashes of colour
                    from their coral habitat

Turn it down!
because basically, 
when it comes right down to it,
I'm fed up, 
      of listening 
              to someone else's 
                                           crap.
