Longing to die,
She lay down her life.
A myriad of greys and purples
Overpowered the page,
Dominating its space.
The clouds were a puff of smoke
In which lungs rotted.
The sky a confused thought
Soiled by unforgiven sins.
The ocean, a lagoon of impurity,
A bloody heartbreak expunged.
And there she was, standing alone,
A white pearl amongst the debris
Where ashes lay scattered unmoving.
There she will always stay,
Reflecting on her misshapen work.
