Hi Elkapan. I'm sorry that you deleted your stories and poems on this post because I thought that there was genuine merit to many of them. I haven't got a photographic memory so it would be silly of me to comment on specifics.
I presume that they were all pieces that had been rejected. If so don't worry. As an experiment I sent a dozen stories to different e-zines of which 9 were rejected, 2 didn't bother to reply and one story (Which I thought was quite weak) was accepted.
You have a unique writing style, and it may take some time to find an outlet for it, but do not change it to conform with others. When you find someone willing to publish your stuff it will snowball. Disheartening as it may seem, you just have to keep plugging away.
Keep writing.

Hi churchmouse, the rejected stories post were simply stories I started and then rejected as being either not good enough or lacking interest, sorry for the confusion there-- I read your post on e-zines and it was very helpful and interesting, it is a shame there isn't much out there any more for short stories and such, would there have been a Bukowski without Open City Magazine, for examle-- or Dicken's (The Pickwick Papers), Kafka (Metamorphoses) without periodicals? Plus, thousands of other great writers. But I guess we have to adapt with the times. There was one site I submitted to called 'East of the Web', it looked very reputable but it has a long waiting list as they do get a lot of submissions, you might want to check them out. There's no chance of giving up writing up, it really is like a guinea worm once it's under the skin! But I'm concentrating on bringing my work up to scratch before submitting, it may take years, but it's a journey well worth taking. Congratulations on being published, it will be a pleasure to read your accepted work sometime.
Thanks for your support it means a lot.
