Do you know what happens
When you pass away
Is there life after death
Does your body just stay

Is there really a Heaven
Is there really a Hell
Where does your soul go
Can anyone tell

Is there a God
Does he really exist
Have "you" ever seen him
Could he be just a Myth

And this book called The Bible
Which remains in our minds
Re-written, Re-vised
And then altered by time

Yet we talk to the dead
And we hear what they say
Be it family or friends
That have longed passed away

Without bodies they speak
Yet they sometimes appear
Some come with their love
Some come to cause fear


But where do they come from
Does anyone know
Some claim they have been there
Some claim it's a show

For me I believe
Were just like a cocoon
We evolve from this life
As were already doomed

And when we awake
From a dark and deep sleep
We just start all over
With others we meet

But is this world different
Or is it the same
Is there love, Is there hate
Is there murder and maim

No one knows
But we all have to pass
Just a matter of time
Some go first, Some go last
