time and time again
despite knowing that all you'll see
is patriotic fear-instilling bullshit
or predictable comedy?
Because that description right there's me;
what I'm doing is wasting time
trying to guess what will come up next
waiting for some guy to text
just to tell me Hi
and then I hear an exhuausted sound - my own death-like sigh
I've worked myself to the ground
and nobody's even around
to kiss me and make me found
